Denzil was helped by Barnado's from the age of 8 years old until he was 13. He had a career with Honeywell for 37 years and when not there,he was often found on the golf course where he achieved a hole in one at the age of 85. He leaves his wife Esther, his 3 children Jane, Andrew and Francis, his 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Melissa, Eleanor and Alexander, his stepdaughter Alma, daughter in law Ali and son in law Roy.
